Statistics on the most common names given to newborns last year were released today. Alice was the most common name for girls for the fifth year in a row, while Noah topped the list of boys’ names for the first time, pushing Lucas down to fourth place.
Three new names on the girls’ list were Elsa, Freja and Selma, while those who dropped out of the top 10 were Lilly, Vera and Ebba.
