One of the most impressive benefits of flaxseed is its ability to reduce the signs of aging. It contains lignans – polyphenols that are believed to be able to protect the skin from damage caused by the sun and other environmental factors.
Also, the small seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which contribute to keeping the skin nourished and supple. Regular consumption of ground flaxseed helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other forms of premature aging. Omega-3s are also believed to be highly anti-inflammatory and improve skins with eczema or psoriasis. Last but not least, flaxseeds also contain omega-6 fatty acids, which are also an important component for healthy skin.

A mask with flax seeds, turmeric and yoghurt
In a bowl combine:
1 tbsp ground flaxseed;
1 tbsp water;
1 tsp turmeric powder;
1 tbsp yoghurt.
Stir well. Apply the mask on dry and clean skin. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. After that, you can apply a suitable cream.
Mask with linseed, lemon and honey
In a bowl combine:
1 tbsp ground flaxseed;
1 tbsp honey;
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice.
Apply the mask to clean, dry skin and rinse with cool water after 10 minutes. To finish, apply a suitable face cream.
Mask with flaxseed, cinnamon and milk
Combine the following ingredients:
1 tbsp ground flaxseed;
1 and ½ tbsp yoghurt/coconut milk;
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
Mix ingredients well, apply mask with light massage movements on clean and dry skin. After 10-15 minutes you can rinse the skin with cool water and apply cream.
